2. What data we collect and how we use it
2.1 Financial data (stored locally)
All your expense history, income, budgets, accounts, debts, and saving goals are stored exclusively on your device using SQLite. They are never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.
2.2 Payment notifications (auto-capture)
If you enable auto-capture, the app requests access to your notifications. Only the text of payment notifications (amount, merchant) is read to automatically record expenses. Your banking credentials, account numbers, or sensitive information are never accessed.
Notification text may be sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI (an AI service) to categorize the expense. This text is anonymized beforehand and does not contain direct banking information. 2.3 Subscriptions and purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous device identifier to manage your subscription status. See their policy at: revenuecat.com/privacy
2.4 Advertising
The free version displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device data and advertising identifiers to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. See Google's policy at: policies.google.com/privacy
2.5 Google Drive backup
If you enable backup, your data is uploaded to a private folder in your Google Drive account (appDataFolder). This folder is not visible to the user when browsing Drive and can only be accessed by the app itself. All transfers are performed over HTTPS. See Google's policy at: policies.google.com/privacy

4. Third-party data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with any third party. The only external services involved are:
- Google Cloud Vertex AI: anonymized notification text (for categorization only, processed in the EU)
- RevenueCat: subscription management
- Google AdMob: advertising (free version)
- Google Drive: optional user-initiated backup
5. Data retention and deletion
All financial data resides on your device. You can delete it at any time from Settings → Delete all data. Uninstalling the app automatically removes all local data.
To delete your Google Drive backup, disconnect your account from Settings → Backup → Disconnect and remove the file from your Google Drive. For any other deletion request contact us at neoappsia@gmail.com.
6. Security
- Local data can be protected with an access PIN.
- The Google Drive backup is stored in a private folder accessible only by the app, transmitted over HTTPS.
- We do not maintain any proprietary servers storing user data.
7. Children
This application is not directed at children under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to this policy
Any significant changes will be communicated through an app store update. The date at the top of this document always reflects the current version.
9. Your rights
